The Secretariat will then forward your application to the Membership Commission of the IACL Executive Committee. After considering your application, the Membership Commission will make a recommendation to the Executive Committee, which will make a decision as soon as possible. In accordance with Article 7 of the IACL’s Statutes, acceptance by the Executive Committee is subject to ratification by the Council of the IACL at the next World Congress, which generally is a formality.

The annual membership fees are as follows:

• Individual member US$35 or €30
• National or regional association/institute US$300 or €250

Membership fees become due on acceptance by the Executive Committee, and thereafter at the beginning of each calendar year.
